This one should be a bumper night with three very different trios. Luft are a group who’ve been fairly busy around town of late and feature Alan Newcombe on tenor sax, Chris Hill on clarinet, ukelele and an assortment of things, and James O’Sullivan on electric guitar. The lap steel of John Bisset will feature alongside Bristol’s Richard Hughes on accordion and Julia Bruessels on violin and a plethora of effects. I Alan Wilkinson will be joined for a first time trio by the peerless Maggie Nicols on voice and things, and Hutch Demouilpied on trumpet.
