January 2026 sees the club celebrating its 25th anniversary — so watch this space for more info on that. Featured this month are two trios which both feature the multiple talents of Steve Noble on drums and percussion. He will be playing with longtime associate Ian Maclachlan on trombone, and veteran improviser Marcio Mattos on cello/bass; and also a very different trio with saxophonist Nat Catchpole and bassist Olie Brice ; the third act is a reconvening of the duo of Alan Wilkinson and the electronics and multi-instrumentation of Greek musician Tasos Stamou . As ever, music will start around 8.30 and entrance is by cash on the door.
